Bengaluru: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC-NET June 2026 results, releasing scorecards for candidates across 84 subjects.

More than 6 lakh candidates appeared for the examination, of whom over 97,000 have qualified for PhD admission, while more than 4,000 candidates have secured eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

Candidates can access, download and print their scorecards by logging into the official UGC-NET website.

Results for English, Commerce and Sociology have not been declared yet. The NTA has decided to conduct fresh examinations after an expert committee identified factual, printing, translation and language-related errors in the question papers.

The English and Commerce re-examinations will be held on September 9, while Sociology candidates will appear on September 10. No additional examination fee will be charged.

Fresh admit cards and examination-centre details will be issued on the NTA website.

The agency clarified that the re-examination will not affect the results declared for the other 84 subjects or the eligibility process for Assistant Professor posts.

Candidates from the three affected subjects may currently see an “Invalid Application Number/Password” message while attempting to access their scorecards. Their results will be released after the re-examination.
