Nagarjuna’s 100th film titled ‘King 100’; movie to hit screens on December 24
Hyderabad: Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni is set to mark a major milestone in his career with his 100th film, titled ‘King 100’. Directed by R A Karthik, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24.
The title and first glimpse of the much-awaited project were unveiled by Annapurna Studios on Saturday to coincide with Nagarjuna’s birthday. The film has reportedly been in production for nearly a year, with the makers keeping details under wraps.
The nearly 90-second glimpse introduces Nagarjuna in a stylish and distinctive avatar, with a dialogue about money, identity and power becoming one of the highlights.
“There are two types of people in this world. Those with money and those without money,” Nagarjuna’s character says in the glimpse, before describing how his identity changed after he acquired wealth.

Written and directed by R A Karthik, ‘King 100’ is produced by Annapurna Studios. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music, while Raja Mahadevan handles cinematography.

The technical crew includes production designer Satish Kumar N, editor Naveen Nooli and costume designers Poorva, Rajini, Tanya and Brahma. Action sequences are being coordinated by Venkat, Prithvi, Nabakanth, Real Satish and Dinesh Kasi.
With Nagarjuna’s 100th film carrying considerable expectations among Telugu cinema fans, the December 24 release is set to be a significant milestone in the veteran actor’s career.
