Kasturirangan report: All-party meeting in Thirthahalli

Shivamogga: An all-party meeting has been convened in Thirthahalli on September 3 to oppose the implementation of the Kasturirangan report, which has raised concerns among residents of 157 villages in the taluk.

The meeting, organised jointly by political parties, organisations and associations in Thirthahalli, will be held at 3pm at the Shanthaveri Gopala Gowda Rangamandira.

Thirthahalli MLA Araga Jnanendra has appealed to presidents, leaders and office-bearers of all political parties, representatives of various organisations and cooperative societies, farmers and members of the public to attend the meeting and support a resolution opposing the implementation of the Kasturirangan report.

The meeting is intended to bring together stakeholders across party lines to voice opposition to the report and its potential impact on the 157 villages.
