Prabhas’ ‘Spirit’ Set for Diwali 2027 Release, May Clash with ‘Ramayana Part 2’

Hyderabad: Prabhas-starrer Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is set to arrive in theatres on October 29, 2027, coinciding with the Diwali festive season. The makers announced the release date with a new poster, raising anticipation among fans.

Triptii Dimri will play the female lead opposite Prabhas, while Vivek Oberoi, Kanchana and Aishwarya Desai will feature in key roles. The film is being produced by T-Series Films and Bhadrakali Pictures, with Bhushan Kumar among the prominent producers backing the project.

Spirit marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and Vanga. The director’s reunion with Triptii Dimri, following their association in Animal, has added to the buzz surrounding the action entertainer.

The film was initially scheduled for release in March 2027 but was postponed. The newly announced date places Spirit in a potentially competitive festive box-office window.
