‘Mookuthi Amman 2’: Nayanthara Appears as Goddess in ‘World of Mahashakti’ Video

Chennai: The makers of Mookuthi Amman 2, starring Nayanthara, have released a special video titled The World of Mahashakti, offering a glimpse into the film’s mix of devotion, mysterious rituals and thriller elements.

Released by Vels Film International, the video features Nayanthara as a police officer who arrives in a place called Mailanji with her mother. The narrative then takes a supernatural turn as she appears in the avatar of Goddess Mookuthi Amman.

The footage shows villagers seeking the Goddess’s protection as they struggle against evil forces. Actress Regina Cassandra plays a character associated with the dark forces, while scenes involving black magic and mysterious rituals add to the suspense.

A dialogue from the video, “The land and the crown are ours,” also hints at the conflict at the heart of the story.

Directed by Sundar C., Mookuthi Amman 2 is scheduled to release in theatres on November 6.
