4,000 youths pledge to nation-building at Ashok Singhal centenary event

Mumbai: Around 4,000 young men and women participated in a youth conference organised by the Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini, under the aegis of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), at Shanmukhanand Hall in Mumbai to mark the birth centenary year of senior VHP leader and Ram Janmabhoomi movement pioneer Ashok Singhal.

RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Arun Kumar shared his memories and experiences of working with Singhal, recalling his contributions to social mobilisation and community service.

Kumar said Singhal had built his life amid challenging circumstances and worked to unite people across castes, communities and sects, including marginalised and neglected sections of society. He also highlighted Singhal’s efforts to bring together sadhus and saints and strengthen social engagement through various service initiatives.

The conference brought together thousands of youths, who participated in the event and pledged their commitment to nation-building, reflecting on Singhal’s life and contributions.
