UN Condemns Drone Attacks in Sudan, Calls for Civilian Protection
Khartoum: The United Nations has condemned ongoing drone attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in Sudan, expressing concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in a country battered by more than three years of conflict.
The UN urged all parties involved in the conflict to comply with international humanitarian law and take measures to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure.

According to reports, a drone attack on Al-Dabab market in West Kordofan killed several civilians. In a separate attack in Khartoum, three children aged between two and six and their father were killed.
Another drone strike targeted a residential house in Nyala, South Darfur, resulting in civilian casualties and damaging neighbouring homes.
