IAS resignation series: Divya Mittal bids farewell to 13 years of public service
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh-cadre IAS officer Divya Mittal, a 2013-batch officer, has resigned from the civil services after nearly 13 years of public service.
Mittal, who was serving as Special Secretary in the Revenue Department, announced her decision in a post on X on Sunday, marking the end of a career that saw her serve in several key administrative roles.
An IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore alumna, Mittal had earlier worked in London before returning to India to join the IAS. She said staying away from the country had weighed on her and prompted her decision to return and pursue public service.
