India Bags Silver in Mixed 4x400m Relay at Asian Games
Aichi-Nagoya: India continued its medal-winning run at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, with the mixed 4x400m relay team clinching a silver medal in a closely contested race.
The Indian quartet of Manu TS, Poovamma MR, Vishal TK and Vithya Ramraj delivered a strong performance to finish second in the event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the four athletes on their silver-medal performance, praising their speed, coordination and determination.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said the team’s performance had produced an exciting race and marked a proud moment for Indian athletics. He also wished the athletes continued success in their future competitions.
