Iran Open to US Talks but Will Not Surrender, Says Pezeshkian
Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said Tehran is ready to resolve its standoff with the US through dialogue but will not surrender. He added that the Supreme Leader had granted the government special authority to pursue a diplomatic solution.
Talks aimed at ending the conflict are being mediated by Qatar and Pakistan. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran was prepared for both negotiations and defensive action.

Araghchi also indicated that Iran could consider reopening the Strait of Hormuz if its conditions were met, warning that any US military escalation would invite a strong response.
