Mysuru Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram hosts grand Chaturmasya celebrations of Datta Vijayananda Teertha
Mysuru (Karnataka): The 23rd Chaturmasya celebrations of junior pontiff Sri Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji are being held with religious fervour at the Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram on Ooty Road in Mysuru.
As part of the Chaturmasya observances, the seer performed Go Puja at the ashram. This was followed by special prayers and religious rituals to mark Hayagriva Jayanti at the Vishwa Prarthana Mandiram.

A special abhisheka and puja were performed for the seer along with Sri Chakra Puja. The programme also featured a Purnima music seva by Vidwan Prajwal Rangaraju and his troupe.
The religious proceedings continued with Pavamana Homa and Poornahuti.

Vishnu Purana discourse
Later in the evening, a Dharma Sabha was held at the Poundarika Mantapa, where Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji delivered a discourse as part of the ‘Vishnu Purana’ series.
The seer explained the religious and spiritual teachings contained in the Vishnu Purana and highlighted their relevance to devotees.
A large number of devotees gathered at the ashram to listen to the discourse and participate in the various religious rituals held as part of the Chaturmasya celebrations.
