PM Modi meets Pejawar seer Vishwaprasanna Tirtha, unveils centenary logo

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji of Sri Pejavara Adhokshaja Matha, Udupi, Karnataka, along with other dignitaries.

During the meeting, Modi unveiled the logo for the birth centenary celebrations of Padma Vibhushan Yatikula Chakravarti Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji, the former seer of Pejavara Matha.

Modi said Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji’s life of devotion, learning and service continued to inspire people across the country.

The Prime Minister said various initiatives being undertaken in the run-up to the birth centenary celebrations would help carry forward the seer’s ideals and legacy.

In a post on X, Modi said he was pleased to meet Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji and other dignitaries on the occasion.

The birth centenary celebrations are expected to feature a series of programmes and initiatives highlighting the life, teachings and contributions of Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji.
