‘CM Cup 2026’ Dasara Sports Meet: Karnataka DCM G.Parameshwara launches state-level sporting even

Mysuru: Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara inaugurated the ‘CM Cup 2026’, a state-level Dasara sports meet, at the Chamundi Vihar Indoor Stadium in Mysuru as part of the Dasara festivities.

The event has been organised by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports and the Sports Authority of Karnataka.

During the inaugural programme, Pranavi Urs, who won a golf medal at the Asian Games, and Commonwealth Games medal winner Shilpa K.S. were felicitated for their sporting achievements.’

Several dignitaries attended the event, including Minister C. Puttaranga Shetty, Jungle Lodges and Resorts chairman Anil Kumar C., MLAs Tanveer Sait and D. Ravishankar, Karnataka Olympic Association president and MLC Dr K. Govindaraj, and Principal Secretary of the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports Naveen Raj Singh.

Department Commissioner M.N. Anucheth was also present.
