Jr NTR vows legal action over AI-morphed ‘Chuttamalle’ video featuring Janhvi Kapoor

HYDERABAD: Telugu superstar Jr NTR has expressed outrage over an alleged AI-morphed video featuring actress Janhvi Kapoor, warning that he will pursue legal action against those responsible for creating and circulating the content.

The video, which has reportedly been doing the rounds on social media, allegedly manipulates visuals from the popular ‘Chuttamalle’ song from Devara, featuring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, to create sexually explicit imagery that was not part of the original footage.

Reacting to the incident on X, Jr NTR described the content as “disgusting, sick and shameful” and condemned the misuse of artificial intelligence to depict a woman in a derogatory manner.

He said he would not hesitate to take legal action against both those who created the morphed video and those responsible for circulating it. The actor also urged social media users not to watch, share or engage with such content.

Jr NTR further warned that while such manipulated content may target another woman today, similar technology could potentially be used against anyone’s mother, sister, wife or daughter tomorrow.

Jr NTR calls for stronger AI safeguards

The actor also called for stronger measures to prevent the misuse of artificial intelligence. He urged the central and state governments to introduce and enforce stringent regulations against the malicious use of AI technology.

The incident has once again highlighted concerns over the growing misuse of AI-generated and manipulated content, particularly when it involves public figures and sexually explicit material.
