Riyadh Airport Attack: Embassy confirms death of one of 11 injured Indians
Riyadh: An Indian national injured in the October 10 attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has died after undergoing treatment, the Indian Embassy in Riyadh said.
According to the embassy, the deceased was among 11 Indian nationals injured in the attack. Saudi officials had earlier reported that 12 people were killed and 309 injured.
The reported fatalities included four Saudi nationals and eight foreign residents. The foreign victims reportedly included two Bangladeshis and one national each from the US, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine and Sudan.

The incident comes amid escalating hostilities between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi rebels, with reports of both sides targeting major airports.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni army has claimed that it carried out more than 1,900 attacks across Yemen and killed over 1,150 Houthi fighters. These figures remain claims attributed to the Yemeni army.
